Questions to consider when choosing a project
- What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
- Is there a social problem you would like to investigate?
- Do you have an invention or creation you would like to further explore?
- If you could pursue your wildest dream, what would it be?
- Have any travel experiences given you ideas?
- What is one of the biggest problems facing the world today?
- What would you like to be doing 10 years from now?
- Will you still have the interest and the energy for your project three months from the time you started?
Questions to consider if you have chosen a project
- Do you know all your potential resources? Consider possible books, magazines and primary sources
- Have you made notes of all the special items you will need for your project?
- Do you have a logical link between your project and your research paper?
- Have you anticipated any problems you will have? Consider finances, resources, mentors and computer time
