WVHS Drama Club presents fall production, Suite Surrender, this week

November 2, 2021

The WVHS Drama Club is happy to be bringing its fall production back to the High School theater for live performances, beginning this Thursday, November 4. The Club is proud to present the new comedy Suite Surrender by Michael McKeever, for nightly shows on November 4, 5, and 6, 2021.

Suite Surrender, a farce in the vein of classic 1930s and 1940s, follows two of Hollywood’s biggest divas as they descend upon the luxurious Palm Beach Royale Hotel in 1942. With them are their assistants, luggage, and their legendary feud with one another in tow. Everything seems to be in order for their wartime performance, that is until they are somehow assigned to the same suite. Mistaken identities, overblown egos, double entendre, and a lap dog named Mr. Boodles round out this hilarious comedy.
