Tryouts scheduled for the Winter Athletics season

Warwick Athletics announces the first day of tryouts for the 2023 – 2024 Winter Athletics season.  Required paperwork is to be completed online using the FAMILY ID link which is located on the homepage of the Athletics webpage.

Boys Varsity, JV and Freshman Basketball
Boys Varsity Basketball will begin tryouts on Monday, November 13th  3PM – 5:30 PM in the HS new gym.  JV and Freshman tryouts will be held on November 13th from 5:30 – 8 PM in the high school new gym. 

Girls Varsity and JV Basketball
Girls Varsity basketball tryouts will begin on Monday, November 13th in the high school new gym from 2:45 PM – 6 PM.  Junior Varsity basketball tryouts will be held on Monday, November 13th in the middle school gym from 2:45 – 5:15 PM. 

Indoor Track and Field 
Girls Varsity Indoor Track will begin their season on November 13th with a meeting at 2:50 PM in the Hall of Champions. Practice begins following the meeting and will end at 4:30 PM.

Boys Varsity Indoor Track will begin their season on Monday, November 13th with a meeting in the “PITS” of the high school at 2:55 PM followed by practice.

Varsity and JV Cheerleading 
Varsity and JV Cheerleading will begin tryouts on Monday, November 13th from 2:45 – 5:30 PM in the HS Fran Higgins Gym.

Wrestling
Varsity and Junior Varsity Wrestling will begin on Monday, November 13th from 2:40 – 4:30 PM in the high school wrestling room.  Modified wrestling will begin on Monday, November 27th in the middle school cafeteria from 2:45 – 4:30 PM.

Boys and Girls Skiing
Boys and Girls Varsity Skiing will begin dryland training Monday, November 27th from 2:45 – 4 PM in the high school south cafeteria.

Boys Swim and Dive 
The Boys Varsity Swim team will begin their season on Monday, November 13th  with practice in the high school pool from 2:45 – 5 PM.  Dive practice will be announced soon.
