Students help wrap up WTBQ toy drive for military tots

WTBQ Radio’s 2023 Toys for Military Tots campaign is all wrapped up, and what an incredible success it has been!

The WTBQ Toys for Military Tots 2023 campaign collected more than 5,000 toys — an estimated value of right around $50K! 

WVCSD has been proud and excited to participate in the toy drive this year, and really got into the spirit of giving. Our district-wide toy drop-off points collected over 1,000 toys for the cause (read all about it, here). Students from the Park Avenue Student Council had a fun day recently, helping with the final load-up of all the trucks full of gifts that are headed out to military families this holiday season.

Thank you to our neighbors at WTBQ for spearheading this wonderful campaign, and for giving our students and staff the opportunity to take part. Great job, everyone!
