Sanfordville Art & Drama Club collaboration sets a Nemo vibe

The Sanfordville Drama Club performance of NEMO KIDS is coming right up on the weekend of April 26 & 27, and to prepare for all of the anticipated theater goers who will be attending the three performances, the Sanfordville Art Club has gotten in on the preparations!

The Art Club students have been busy this week applying their skills to help the Drama Club decorate the Sanfordville Elementary School lobby.

“The students have been hard at work drawing and painting the characters of NEMO KIDS,” said art teacher and SES Art Club advisor Sunwha Gil, who shared that the students’ creativity and amazing results have been second only to their excitement for working alongside their peers in the arts. “They’ve all been so engaged in this collaboration with the Dram Club; I am so proud of my art club students!”

  

Ms. Gil and the students can’t wait for people to arrive at Sanfordville for the shows, to see the immersive undersea world they’ve created.
