Pat Ryan Service Academies Information Workshop Oct. 7

Anyone interested in pursuing a future of service, leadership, and academic excellence in the service academies or ROTC programs may attend Congressman Pat Ryan’s United States Fall Service Academies Information Workshop. The event will be held from 2 to 5 p.m., October 7, at SUNY Ulster, 491 Cottekill Road, Stone Ridge, NY 12484.

Service Academies provide a top-level education and full four-year scholarship while preparing young men and women for leadership roles in the nation’s armed forces.

At the workshop, students and parents can meet representatives from all five services who will be available to answer questions, provide insights, and address concerns. They will gain a deeper understanding of the different paths to service, learn about the unique opportunities each academy offers, and see how they can shape a student’s future.

A panel of experts will host a Q&A session. Students and parents will also have the opportunity to speak with some of the Congressional nomination board members who are conducting interviews for Congressional nominations.
