What has the District done to improve Food Services over the past two years?
- Removed the middle school from the National School Lunch Program
- Listened to the needs of our customers (students & parents)
- Increased healthy options, eliminated food waste
- Utilized our current equipment (pizza oven)
- Brought back salad bars
- Reintroduced deli bar (students create their own sandwiches)
- Increased revenue so we could meet needs of customers (students & parents)
- Created new middle school menu by developing exciting and healthy new recipes
- Added vending machines in the high school and middle school that work with our POS System, allowing additional revenue for breakfast & lunch purchases
- Created additional serving areas to ensure students have quick access to meals; no long lines
