Crew Club salutes graduating seniors
The Warwick Valley High School Crew Club recently saluted its graduating seniors.
Captain and coxswain Maya Bialas has been part of Warwick Crew for three years and is now headed to Syracuse University where she will continue her crew career coxing for the Division I school. Maya will pursue Fashion Design and Pre-Law.
Captain and coxswain Brian Marsh has been a part of Warwick Crew for four years. This fall he will attend SUNY Polytechnic Institute to study Mechanical Engineering.
Captain Casey Duma will attend Mercyhurst University where she will study Sports Business Management. Casey has rowed for the team for four years and will now row for the Division II team.
Miranda Ibbetson will attend SUNY Delhi where she will study Nursing. She has been on the crew team for three years.
Deanna Ibbetson is headed to Rockland Community College to pursue a career in Art Education and has rowed for Warwick Crew for three years.
Emma Ibbetson has been a part of the team for two years and will now study Nursing at Iona College this fall.
Three-year veteran Natalie Vanasse has been part of the team as both a coxswain and rower. This fall she will attend SUNY Geneseo where she will study Early Childhood and Special Education.
“It is with both pride and heartache that we bid farewell to our talented athletes,” Warwick Crew Manager Jaye Levitsky said. “We are so proud of all of our wonderful seniors and wish them all the best in their future endeavors!”
