This FREE training is part of our Education Advocacy Transition workshops for students with disabilities and their parents/guardians.

Our transition series is designed to help a student develop as a self-advocate by developing the necessary skills to help develop and execute a transition plan for future success, in the workforce or while attending secondary educational opportunities This training will focus on the following goals.
- Overview of the legal designations of Guardianship/Power of Attorney
- Benefits
- Understanding the basics of when to pursue and why
- Navigating the application process
Training Funded by the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities Family Support Services.
