Wildcuts Salon open to the public on select dates for 2023-24

At Wildcuts Salon students in the Warwick Valley High School cosmetology program put the skills and talents they’ve developed in school to work. Salon guests from around the community are welcomed to make appointments on certain select Thursdays for a full array of hair and nail services. The real-world interactions with clients help our young stylists and artists build valuable communication and customer service skills that are so important to success in their field.

Students also earn work-based learning hours that count toward their eligibility to take the state licensing examination, which New York State requires of people who want to become licensed cosmetologists.

Wildcuts Salon has seven dates scheduled for public appointments through spring 2024. Wildcuts Salon is located inside Warwick Valley High School.

Wildcuts Salon does not accept payment or tips for salon services. However, patrons who would like to express their gratitude through support of the cosmetology program may do so by donating directly to the WVHS Career & Technical Education scholarship program.
