Wildcats defeat FDR in 2021 homecoming game
The Wildcats scored early and often to get out to a 35-7 halftime lead over the visiting FDR Presidents in the 2021 Homecoming Game.
The Wildcats rushed for four touchdowns and threw for another, led by Dan Thorson’s two touchdowns. Owen Hoyen and Nick Di Marco also rushed for touchdowns and Nick DiMarco connected with Nick Simonetta with a 42-yard touchdown strike. Thorson led all rushers with 10 carries for 107 yards. DiMarco and junior quarterback Joey Krasniewicz combined for 17 completions on 26 attempts, for 295 yards to seven different receivers — Skyler Rodriguez, Nate Constable, Ryan McLaughlin, Nick Simonetta, Chase Fogg, Thomas Spain, and Latrell Willis.
The defense was paced by Adam Miller and Ryan Fleming who both contributed five tackles. Anthony Marcano, Tyler Ellis, Justin Hurd, and Jake Durie had interceptions for the Wildcats. Drew Borner connected on all five extra points and a 35-yard field goal to wrap up the scoring.
The Wildcats travel to Kingston’s Dietz Stadium on Friday, October 15, for a 7:00 p.m. kick-off against the Tigers.
