B Day

4,1,2 & 9,6,7

It is the second most important festival in China after Chinese New Year. People living in Mainland China will enjoy the  8-day public holiday (from September 29th to October 6th).

In China,  the Mid-Autumn Festival is a reunion time for families, a little like our American Thanksgiving holiday.  Dr. Pings Mandarin’s class has been learning and studying this joyous event in class .

Modified girls soccer practice will start at 2:45 in Coach Wendt’s room.  Also soccer game news- Abby Heim and her incredible defensive team shutout Beacon with a score of 4-0.  Goals were scored by… Aubrey Wright, Adrianna Aiosa and 2 by Aislin Wendt

Last night, the Warwick Wildcats opened their season against the Wallkill Panthers. It was a hard fought game and the team battled throughout! Offensively, Preston Dwyer and Cormac Mezzetti surgically picked apart the Panther secondary! The Panthers could do nothing to slow down Chuck Ronan and the rest of the Wildcat receivers. In the fourth quarter, Nick Ramos put the team on his back, rushing for over 75 yards and the game tying touchdown! Unfortunately, a late Panther drive led to a heart breaking 26-19 defeat. It was a disappointing ending, but the Wildcats showed tremendous grit. The Wildcats are eagerly awaiting their next matchup, on Wednesday night, when they face off against the Port Jervis Red Raiders. Go Wildcats!
