Warwick Odyssey sets a new district record at Region 5 tournament
As you may have previously read here, Warwick Valley sent 11 teams to the Odyssey of the Mind Region 5 Competition on Saturday, March 2. That’s the largest number of teams that the district has ever sent to the opening round of competition!
We are happy and proud to share that the trend of firsts continued on competition day. Of the 11 Warwick teams, three were Primary Teams, which comprise kindergarten, first and second grade students, and whose performances are adjudicated differently than older teams. All eight of the “older” Warwick Valley teams won first place in their respective problems at the Region 5 Competition!
