Warwick Crew Girls Win Orange/Ulster Championship

The Warwick crew girls team put in an impressive showing at the Hudson Valley Racing League Orange/Ulster Cup regatta held at Rockland Lake State Park this past weekend.  The girls varsity boats dominated, winning overall in the Girls 8 and the Girls 4, finishing the regatta with a second place in the Girls Second 4.  These outstanding results gave the Warwick Girls the overall win for the Orange/Ulster Cup.

On Sunday,  the novices raced, resulting in a second place win for the Warwick Girls Novice 4  before high winds cancelled the remaining races.   The Warwick boys varsity crew put in some strong rows to secure second place overall in the Orange/Ulster Cup, led by the first place Boys Varsity 4 and followed by 2nd place in the Boys Varsity 8.  On Sunday, the boys Novice 4 was able to row to fourth place in extremely difficult conditions on course.   Congratulations to the girls and boys crew teams for their success’s at the Orange/Ulster Cup.
