Public Announcement: BOE to hold public hearing, Thurs., February 15, 2024
The Warwick Valley Central School District Board of Education will hold a public hearing on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at 7:00 pm.
The public hearing will be held in the Dorothy C. Wilson Education Center Board/Community Room.
The purpose of the hearing is to discuss adopting the provisions of §466-a of the Real Property Tax Law, which would grant a partial exemption from taxation for school district purposes, for residential property located within the School District, owned by eligible local volunteer firefighters and volunteer ambulance workers.
The hearing will be followed by a Board of Education Work Session.
