A look at some of the action in Wildcat Country

Here’s a look at some of what’s been going on in Wildcat Country. A quick look at some hoops, wrestling. boys swimming and cheerleading action from the past few weeks. Wildcat athletes have been having a great time competing during this winter season!

Back on January 12, the Warwick girls varsity basketball team defeated Valley Central 40-26. Right now, the team leads Section 9, Division 2, with a 7-0 conference record; they are 8-5 overall.* 

On January 24, the Wildcats varsity boys basketball team defeated Port Jervis 54-46. The team is 9-5 overall and 5-2 in conference play.*

Warwick wrestling competed against Middletown (the eventual champion) during the semifinal round of the Section IX Duals at Minisink Valley a couple weeks ago.

On, Jan. 24, Warwick defeated Beacon 116-67 in a varsity boys swim meet.

On Jan. 20-21, the The varsity cheer athletes traveled to Dallas for the NCA High School Cheer Nationals in the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. The team placed fifth in their division and also earned the Best Use of Jump award.
