We have even more Warwick Valley musicians to congratulate for their participation in the Hudson Valley Honors Band program, which is sponsored by Syracuse University Bands. We couldn’t be more proud of the many creators and collaborators who take advantage of the in-school, interscholastic, local, regional and national opportunities that our performing arts program provides, as well as the post-high school pathways it opens up for them to pursue their most fulfilling futures.

 

To be a participant in the Hudson Valley Honors Band program, students must be recommended for the program and prepare an audition. Students who made it showed true commitment to the program and process, which included weekly rehearsals beginning in August and continuing into the fall. Their hard work culminated in two performances on Saturday, September 30 and Sunday, October 1.
