WVHS senior chair auction is online… bid today through Friday

WVHS Annual Senior Scholarship Chair Auction: Bidding Now Open * Bidding Closes Friday 

The Art Department is sponsoring the annual auction online this year, and bids will be accepted online through Friday, May 20 at 7:00 pm. The senior artists have work tirelessly for several months to transform ordinary chairs into unique works of art.

The chairs are being auctioned off to the public, and ALL PROCEEDS will go to our graduating seniors in the form of art scholarships. Each chair is painted in the style of an art movement, a specific artistic style, or the style of a particular artist. 

Below is a look at this year’s 11 chairs, including one by WVHS art teacher Ms. Kristen Spano.
