WVHS earns School of Distinction honor from NYS Public High School Athletic Association

Warwick Valley High School was recognized with the 2023-2024 School of Distinction Award by The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA).

Warwick Valley is one of just 114 schools across the entire state to earn this honor. To qualify for the School of Distinction Award, 100% of a school’s varsity teams must qualify for and receive the Scholar-Athlete team award during their respective sports seasons.

The Warwick Valley Wildcats have a proud tradition of athletic and academic excellence. We honor the hard work of our student-athletes annually for their achievements on the field and in the classroom, and for the positive ways in which they represent Wildcat Country, both our school district and our community at large.

NYSPHSAA’s Scholar-Athlete team award was initiated in 1991-92 school year, and the School of Distinction Award was established in 2002-03.
