Patrons of the arts take note! The WVHS Drama Club is in its final weeks of rehearsal for their upcoming fall production. Mark your calendars now so you can catch a performance of Puffs or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic.
This magical stage comedy is sure to delight fans who have read all about that “certain wizard boy” who went to “a certain school and conquered evil!”
With scripts in hand and wands aloft, the troupe was on stage in the Theater at Warwick Valley High School on Tuesday afternoon, sharpening their jokes and blocking their battle scenes in preparation for opening weekend. There will be three performances of Puffs over two days, November 8th and 9th, and ticket information will be available on the WVHS Drama Club Ticketing Page soon.
Adventure and peril await the Puffs, and you can grab a seat to catch all of the hilariously “harry” mayhem as it unfolds. The performances will showcase the talents of our student thespians, as well as our set builders and technical crew.

About Puffs…
For seven years, a certain boy wizard went to a certain school and conquered evil. You know who he is. This is not his story, sorry, but that of those who also happened to be there. Puffs is a play for anyone who has never been destined to save the world! This clever show “never goes more than a minute without a laugh.” (Nerdist) Take a a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of three potential heroes who are just trying to place fourth at a very dangerous magic school for kids. Overlooked and underestimated, the Puffs are a perky, well-meaning, loyal group of outsiders with a thing for badgers. Their “hilariously heartfelt!” (Metro) and epic journey takes the classic story to new places and reimagines what a hero can be.
