WVHS earns NYSPHSAA School of Excellence and School of Distinction honors

Warwick Valley High School has been recognized as a 2023-2024 School of Excellence and School of Distinction by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA). 

Schools must apply for these prestigious honors, and are invited to do so only if their athletics programs meet some rigorous academic standards. To earn the School of Excellence Award, 75% of Wildcat varsity teams had to qualify for and receive the Scholar-Athlete team award during their respective sports seasons. To earn the School of Distinction Award, that requisite percentage climbs to 100% of teams! 

Congratulations to all of the Wildcat teams, and to the individual athletes whose academic efforts earned them 2024-25 NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete status!
