State test results reflect newly adopted scoring procedures

July 2010 - The results from this past May’s state English Language Arts and math tests in grades 3 through 8 reflect newly adopted procedures that raise the bar on proficiency standards for students throughout New York State. As Warwick administrators analyze the results of the May assessments and determine what this means for our district, more information will be posted.

Reflections 

We are so proud of Madigan L., a first grader in Mrs. Emmerich’s class, for receiving an Award of Merit! In the high school, Emma T. has received the NYS PTA Reflections Award of Excellence and has advanced to the National PTA judging level for her literature submission.

Congratulations PARP participants! 

Sanfordville students raised a total of $3,782.89 during this year's annual Parents As Reading Partners (PARP) program. The school was able to purchase and gift three water buffalo, three llamas, seven beehives, seven flocks of chicks, three cows, three goats and three sheep through through Heifer International's Reed to Feed program. The livestock donations will help families throughout the world. Congratulations to all participants!
